Vocalist Tessa Lee presents ‘Skit Scat Raggedy Cat,’ the jazz show created for juniors. Using a broad range of kid-centric repertoire and a dose of fun, ‘Skit Scat’ will demystify jazz and infect children with swing. Pulling together top-class jazz musicians and educators from the north of Tasmania (Steve Cooper - vocals and keyboards, Nick Hart - bass, Bruce Innocent - drums and percussion and Phil Pitcher - saxophones), ‘Skit Scat Raggedy Cat,’ is Tessa Lee’s newest project, born of a passion for passing on the traditions of jazz to the next generation.
