Australia’s leading multi-sport program for children aged 1.5-6 years is now up and running in Tasmania! Ready Steady Go Kids is the ideal introduction to sports for children and your child can take part in a trial class for free. Plus, you can still enrol at any time in Term 1 and pay pro rata fees, or start from Term 2 and enrol from 1st April.
Ready Steady Go Kids is a physio-designed program to introduce young children to sport in a non-competitive environment. To kids, it’s all just about having fun with other children their own age, yet each class will help them develop their essential motor skills, confidence, balance and coordination.

With guidance from engaging coaches and classes featuring fun activities and colourful equipment, children will learn the fundamentals of 10 of Australia's most popular sports. These are:
AFL
Athletics
Basketball
Cricket
Golf
Hockey
Rugby
Soccer
T-Ball
Tennis
Each term covers five different sports in two-week blocks, so there’s always something new to look forward. Classes run for 30-45 minutes (depending on age group) indoors, meaning you never have to worry about the weather on the day!
Ready Steady Go Kids also offers birthday parties , where the birthday boy or girl can choose 2 sports to have fun with. It's a great way to try a new sport whilst celebrating a special occasion with friends.
Classes feature small student to coach ratios and all activities are based on typical age development, so your child can take part safely with kids their own age. Ready Steady Go Kids offers four different classes reflecting a progressive program. These are listed below:
Get Ready (1.5-2.5 yrs)
Ready (2.5-3 yrs)
Steady (3-4 yrs)
Go (4-6 yrs)
