I didn't breast feed my first child. I did express colostrum. I really struggled with my mental health when having my first child which is why I made the decision to formula feed.

I am due to have my second child in a few weeks. I plan to express colostrum again however with everything going on with the virus and formula shortages I'm really worried that I won't be able to get enough formula to feed the baby and maybe I should breast feed for a while.

I've been thinking about this for a few days and I'm getting really bad anxiety. I thought expressing might make it easier than feeding the baby directly.

I've looked at breast pumps and it is so overwhelming. If anyone has recommendations for a simple but good breast pump I would really appreciate it.
