Dive into Fishcare Tasmania's Summer Fishing Program this school holidays for a laid-back day of learning and laughter by the water. Join the clinic where you'll pick up handy tips on fishing—like how to untangle your line less frequently and not accidentally cast it into a tree. All ages and skill levels are welcome, so even if you've never picked up a rod before, we promise you'll walk away with a few cool fishing skills that might even impress your mates. They'll sort you out with rods and bait, so the only thing you need to bring is a good sense of humour and possibly some snacks.

Just a heads-up—participants need to be accompanied by an adult (sorry, kids, no solo fishing trips just yet), but feel free to bring along the whole family or whoever you can bribe with a sandwich. Be sure to save your spot since bookings are a must for those who are keen to reel in some knowledge. Keep an eye on your inbox or their Facebook page for any weather-related updates, because Mother Nature can be a bit moody sometimes. And if life throws a curveball and you can't make it, do let them know so someone else can fish in your place.
