Picture yourself surrounded by fellow budding writers, sharing ideas, and honing your storytelling skills in an atmosphere where every quirk and whimsy is welcomed. Whether you're into crafting tales of fantasy, sketchy mysteries, or out-of-this-world sci-fi, we've got you covered. And guess what? If you're feeling a bit shy, you can invite a parent to tag along for moral support or simply to witness your brilliance in action.

We'll kick things off by chatting with some authors who've made a name for themselves, followed by presentations that break down the essentials of fiction like you're dissecting a juicy novel over coffee (without the coffee spill, of course). You'll also get your hands dirty with practical exercises designed to sharpen your skills faster than you can say "writer's block." This event is brought to you by a fabulous trio: Terror Australis Readers and Writers Festival, Huonville Library, and Huon Valley Council, with a generous nod from Arts Tasmania.
