Researchers from the Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine at The University of Melbourne are seeking volunteers Australia-wide to take part in a new study comparing two different home-based strengthening exercise programs for people with knee osteoarthritis.
Some participants will receive:
- 3 x consults with a physiotherapist,
- An individualised strengthening exercise program,
- Educational and exercise resources,
- All at NO COST!
If you are aged over 45 years, have had knee pain on most days of at least the past three months and aren’t currently participating in any leg strengthening exercise, then you may be eligible to participate in this research trial.
